::FF/FTF: Ginataang Langka (Unripe Jackfruit in Coco Milk)

This is one of my favorite dishes and I patterned this one from my SIL whose Mom came from the Bicol region. Well the recipe is just the same as what we usually do in Tagalog region. You just sauté garlic, onions followed by unripe jackfruit, coconut milk then salt, pepper and seasoning but instead of pork I used a can of sardines in tomato sauce. You just put everything in the can and mixed it in the simmering jackfruit and coconut milk and that's it. You bet it's so yummy...and economical too. Best for those who don't eat pork on Lenten season too.

Since I learned this recipe I never used pork in ginataang langka again.
